Seen an S2 1989 for sale at Oford motor Company in Cambridgeshire... Reg KX1 7978...

anyone know anything about its history??

Have you spoken to Offord today, I was there yesterday and they told me they had sold the only S they had in stock after only a couple of days.

3 V8S's in one place and my S2....

No sorry I was working [ok I shouldn`t have been there] so I was in my van. I think there was 2 red V8`s and a blue S2 when I was there, Its a bit like a kid in a sweet shop going to any Tiv dealer

Sorry about the mighty thread resurrection, but I was bored and did a search on my S's registratiion and this came up.

So a decade on and this S was bought by me last Summer and has covered nearly 5000k miles since then and has never missed a beat once, sounds fantastic and puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. Mileage is currently 55k.

Well done to the previous owner for doing such a great job keeping it maintained, a real credit to them.

Driver's seat is still a little worn, but it doesn't bother me too much, I'll take some saddle soap to it in the Spring to bring it up a bit.
