Has anyone here gone on a gameshow on tv or the radio? And if you did, did you win?

Just thinking after I saw some crystal maze that nobody I know has ever been on a gameshow.

I would have loved a go on The Crystal Maze or Catchphrase. I suppose it could go well or you could end up looking a total arse. (for example getting the first question wrong on who wants to be a millionaire).

ETA - If you have footage of it on youtube or something, it would be a great idea to post it!

This >< close, but skinny Dave wasn't allowed on the train without his parents.

We were one short for our quest on Knightmare.

In retrospect we would have probably been standing in front of a green sheet in a cold warehouse somewhere.

Not telly but spent a week of mornings on Chris Tarrant's phone-in competition on Capital Radio. It was boring really, they primed you with half a dozen of the questions before starting. I won a radio with moving lips rolleyes

I ended up on a local radio quiz when I was in my late teens and still feel robbed to this day. The question was "who wrote the book Gulliver's travels" and I answered "Dean Swift" they decided I was wrong, told me no it was Jonathon Swift, cut me off and went to the next caller with no chance to say no you 'tards they are one and the same it was Dean Jonathon Swift as in the religious title Dean not the name, like Reverend Jonathon Swift or Sir Jonathon Swift would be. Can you tell that nearly 30 years it still gripes me.

My old school went on "crazy cottage". Gutted I didn't get picked to compete though, just sat in the audience watching the inept kids they did pick fail miserably mad
