What's the most witty smart-arse numberplate around?
I've seen 'R4CE ME' on a motorbike.
It was one of those really small numberplates that bikers seem to buy. I'll bet he's been pulled over a few times by plod!

Hmmm, don't see how "R4CE ME" and "WOBBLE" work as number plates without being massively illegal !!

However, I've seen LUV 130X (Luv box) on a great big AMG Merc in Southend.

And Steve Parish (former bike and (current ??) truck racer) has PEN 1S or PEN 15 on a Merc.

Some plonker here at work has got "R4 CEU" (race you) on his UK spec (i.e. slow) scooby prezza. And I remember a Rolls in Newark that used to have A12 NOB with two little dit marks after the 2, so it read A 12" NOB.

Best one I've seen is PEN 15 on Steve Parrish's Merc, apparently it's to stop his wife borrowing it. I was once parked next to him and he told me it was an original proper number rather than one purchased from the government. The DVLA censor them now.

Whilst on the subject of the government. How come one dept can sell numbers which make words by auction and then have another dept which prosecutes you for doing the thing which is it's selling only point.
