Front Indicator Lenses Rear Housing

It has been suggested to me that the rear housings are likely to become a shortage item in the future so have been investigating the possibility of having them re-manufactured as well. With the help of terrance79, who has created a CAD drawing, I have been ableto get a rough price of £65 if 30 are made.

Expensive I know but as they are unobtainable........!!!!!

The other option would be to find a similar sized indicator, remove the lens and make an adaptor to join the new back to the original lens. I had thought that an MGB unit might work but am open to ideass and suggestion (clean and legal please)

I have seen a number of units that look similar, can't remeber any names at the moment though. I would have thought taht would have been entirely possible though. Changing the bulb mounting would be easy too.

What about using the back of a BMW E30 or Terrano lamp? Or even kia - has anyone ever looked at the complete unit?
