I had a stroll round St Katherines dock today, usually full of some nice motorboats and yachts, but was surprised to see 2 huge superyachts moored up there;
Lady Georgina & Kathleen Ann, the LG especially was a very elegant looking boat and made me just a 'touch' jealous. Just wandering if anyone knew who owned them and what they might be doing in London?

Walked back through the dock on the way home tonight - LG does look quite lovely considering she's getting on a bit now. Forgot to book parking for Monaco this weekend perchance?

Sat Nav made them turn left at Gibraltar instead of right.

Lady Georgina was built at Amels in Holland as Katalina by Kusch Yachts and Diana Design. She was an extended design from Jamacia Bay, the first one. After sailing around the world, the then owner, the late Brigadier Tim Landon built a new 65m yacht at HDW/B+V also called Katalina.

During the build of the new one he sold LG to Sir Donald Gosling of NCP who called her Klemantine while he bought Brave Goose II (Edenforth) also a Kusch yacht. LG was then sold to the Barcley brothers who the sold it to the present owners.

The Brigadier then went onto build Leander G before selling it to Sir Donald, also a Kusch yacht.

Yep, worked on all of them at some point, thanks.
