There is only ONE Air Force One. Air Force One is a call sign, not an aircraft. Two 747s are available for Air Force One flights.

They are quite elderly now and should really be replaced. They are based on 747-200s, most of which have now been withdrawn from airline service.

It's the same size as a 'regular' 747, nothing really unusual about it.

Sounds a bit naughty to say the least! But I don't suppose there was much you could do when that happened?

I wonder what type of separation they were maintaining? I guess it was larger than that normally required for a Learjet - which must have given some sort of clue.
