Nothing to worry about this time, for a start, the swirling mass of cloud just west of the UK is an Atlantic low, so it will generally move from SW to NE - thus preventing the cloud reaching us.

It probably is also not made up of the same constituents as Eyapopthekettleon.

I'll be carrying buckets of water over if there's even the most remote of chances it'll effect my trip to vegas in a few weeks mad

It's not expected to cause any disruption outside of icelandic airspace though

If it effects your departure you'll be fine. If it affects it I assume you'll be pretty miffed wink

Watching this closely.. I'm supposed to be flying back and forth to Germany 4 times in the next two weeks.... I'd rather get stuck at home!!

ETA: Does anyone have a boat in northern Germany they can give me a lift on?

Fly in something that doesn't need to go high, but still blats off down the airways at a reasonable rate.

Navajo twin prop etc. Unpressurised and piston-tastic. Try it, you might like it!

Do you have a spare one? I can drive it on a BE licence, right?
