Complete coiincedence but we met today at the Top gear filming! I wandered over to have a look at the stradale before filming comenced, we had a chat about ceramic brakes. It was only when i got home and happened to watch the bruntingthorpe video that i recognised your plate. Small world eh? Oh and it is still a very nice car!

Hey Charlie! Good to meet you. Thanks for not talking too loudly about replacement costs. For some strange reason, it's slipped my mind to tell my wife how much the brakes cost to replace

You were absolutely right about Top Gear- it's a real laugh and you don't see the best bits on TV. I'm not a big fan of Clarkson, but I warmed to him when he referred to Alistair Darling as a c***t. Was also impressed they did most of it on the first take.

Damn good day out that, and I can see why you keep coming to them. Spectacular weather, nice blast through leafy Surrey lanes, enjoyable few hours with some petrolheads, and a play with Micheal (360 Spider) on the M3 on the way back. Quality.

See you at the next event.

I unortunately had to leave just after 6 becuase my parents live just around the corner from Dunsfold and i had to go have dinner. If was soooo HOT yesterday. I had a Chat with Michael (the 360 spider) and his friends during the shooting. He has a very impressive collection of cars. I'm sure i've met him before but can't place it.
One of the friends i was with does drifting and had long chats with clarkson and the crew after filming and the jammy git got to go hooning around the airfield after everyone had left to see if it was suitable as a drifting course.
I shall increasingly be attending PH meets etc in the next 6 months so i hope i run into you again.

Charlie

Mine came via H R Owen. I've just been on the www.applausestore.com site and it's reserve list only now for TG. Not surprised it's oversubscribed TBH.
