I'm looking for some advice guys,my Scott Ransom frame snapped on my ride last night which I'm gutted about as love the bike frown what route should I go to get this sorted? Talking to the shop where I got it (Leisure Lakes) or would it be best to go direct to Scott? The bike is under two years old so I think it's still under so sort of warranty.
Thanks.
Chris.

I'd go to Leisure Lakes first, they will either sort it with Scott for you or tell you to go to Scott yourself.

definately go to the shop first, leisure lakes have a good rep.

the results from warranty issues (not related to leisure lakes or scott but just what i have learnt over the years) are varied from new bikes to customers being told to foxtrot oscar....

Thanks for the advice guys,I got in contact with Leisure Lakes and they have been brilliant and are sorting things out with Scott so hopefully not going to be off the trails to long smile will defiantly be buying my next bike with them after service like that.

Would anyone like to guess how long I'll be waiting to ride before Scott send me my new rear triangle?anyone had experiences with them?

Scott warrenty were very good a while back, no dealing's recently, but I have no reason to doubt they will sort it to your satisfaction quickly.

my experience with Scott warranty is fantastic, no questions asked, replaced carbon frame no worries. Brilliant company and if they did a FS29er i'd buy another one!

Had a problem with a Scott road bike wheel that my local lbs couldn't sort out. I collared a Scott representative at a bike show I went to that was on at the time and he gave me his contact details and asked me to email details of the problem. I did, and several days later a brand new wheel turned up gratis. So another vote for Scott customer service.

I've been thinking about a lighter XC bike for a while so after the service I've just got Ive ordered a Scott Spark 30 for trail blasting and keeping the Ransom for heavier stuff smile
