Ok,

Lately, I can always hear (and feel?) my heart beating in my chest.

Yes, I am under a lot of pressure right now.

So, is this normal enough or do I want to get someone (ideally a doctor, but I am not toooo fussy) to take a look at me!?!?

hard to tell tbh.. evenone can feel their heart beat if they concentrate.. But it should only be overwhelmingly noticable after you've done something to raise your heart rate.

That's the thing, it's not if I concentrate, I just feel it much of the time... No exercise needed.

None of us are doctors so it might just be worth getting it checked out..

I've been before when I thought it was nothing and I've been admitted straight to hospital.. And there's been a time where I've gone in and left 30 seconds later.

The best thing to do is just go in for piece of mind smile

The time to start worrying is when it stops......biggrin

Seriously, go and see a quack ASAP, to put your mind at rest...smile

And lose the stress,.....Yoga and meditation for short periods are good.

I'd go to my GP, get that checked... they'll probably sort you out an ECG.

I had the same thing but stupidly didn't wory about it. Got really bad during a game of squash hehe

I went to see my doctor after a snowboarding accident and he found my blood pressure to be slightly high.

That made sense since I was helping an old company relocate, and could eat and drink as I wished. So starter, steak and pudding every night.

My blood pressure is now back to normal and I can no longer feel my heart beating every time.

My heart rate was in the low 40's at the time, I guess because of doing sport, and I could certainly feel my heart beating... and I can't now.

Apparently high blood pressure and low heart rate asks a lot of the heart, which I guess is the reason I coudl feel by heart beating.

hehe I knew I'd regret that statement.. Still, a diagnosis in person is usually much better and put your mind at ease a lot better.
