Trouble is, the media coverage is disproportionate to the amount of people opposing. Look hard enough and you'll find an opposing group for anything, but the story isn't the XXm people who want renewables or nuclear. No the story is the 17 nutter who'll oppose anything that isn't going back to the stone ages and living in a cave.

FFS you could cover the UK in trees and this lot would oppose it. I wish the media would ignore them, or give them airtime proportional to the amount of people protesting. So in this case, about a sentence at best.

I don't understand how sitting on top of a flimsy tripod positioned in the road will stop a 40 tonne lorry going about its business? Surely it'd be easier to let the drivers plough through them and chuck the flattened corpses into the biomass burners rather than wasting police time
