Take a look at Steve Heaths site, www.tvrbooks.co.uk, there is a bit on their about his sprinting car which is a 390SE with a few mods - 5.2 litre engine, lightened body, and traction control, I am sure Steve has something on their with details etc ================ Graham and Rosie

A familiar problem, and I'm happy to say I know what the cure is: you need to replace the digital two-position throttle pedal with the fully proportional analogue one. I've seen cars with these fitted, but all the ones I've driven seem to have the old digital sort. :-( Alternatively take a look at http://www.racelogic.co.uk/ Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

Is there anybody out there working on or interested in developing a tractionn control sytem for Rover V-8 engined TVR's? Having just moved up from a 4.0l to a 5.0l Chimera straight line progress has been difficult on damp roads in the lower gears.

Just a pointer if you are doing track days (bends) then a four wheel sensor is the way. The two undriven wheels (Front I hope!) are the "datum" wheels they tell the diven wheels what rpm they should be doing. If your just in it for the straight line stuff (drag/Brighton)then just "sense" of one wheel. Like Peter says Racelogic are the mainstream company and have been doing this stuff for some years now. Must say it may take some skill/feel away from your drive?
