Keep left?!

What is wrong with Lane 1? Why do people keep hogging on the middle lane despite lane 1 is clear of traffic. Why can't they just keep to the left on the motorways or on the duel carriage ways. How often you see lane 2 and 3 full of cars and no cars in lane 1? Are we adopting the European laws that i am not aware of, drive on the right?

This is a pet hate of mine, and with the various extra lanes being put in, these perpetrators won't know where to park themselves, lane 2 or 3!

A few years ago Mrs LT was driving her car, came up behind one of these eejots, us in 1, eejot parked in 2. Couldn't get in Lane 3 due to traffic, she was about slip past in 1 (undertaking, tut tut) and I glimpsed a plod car behind. She braked and didn't undertake. At which point Mr plod pulled said eejot over. I was chuffed.

The A1 up from the A14 to Peterbough is four lanes, does my swede in when people are poodling along in lanes two and three and lane one empty. Its not rocket science im sure,unless we are the fk wit's and they are doing no wrong

I cannot see the point of us the tax payers paying millions to have the motorways extended to 4 and 5 lanes, when most people are not only 2 lanes on the right. If the drivers are keeping to the left, there will be less slow moving traffic.

I understand what you are saying, but there are certain roads you don't want to be in the left lane as you just end up in the grooves made by the lorries.
