Rolex Air King

[Rollin]

I have a friend who is looking for a blue faced Rolex Air King. He wants one that looks just like the one below. Anyone know what a fair price would be for this model in good nick?

I would have said between £1200-£1800 depending, service record and place of sale. They can be picked up for a lot less, depends on how picky your mate is.

Air king dates are quite rare, so a blue one that much more so. A number of non dates on TRF and WUS, one or two blue ones if I recall.

I'm looking for a vintage blue date or dj and they are like hens teeth. Very nearly got scammed by a US "dealer" but a quick google showed the truth.

Value - would tend to agree 1200-1500 maybemore with papers and box.

He's been told that he should be looking at paying about £2400...Thought that was a bit high.

For a really nice one, with full B&Ps along with service history, from a dealer, maybe.
