450 SE reg document query

Hi guys just a quick question from a TVR illiterate. I owned a 400se a few years ago and have pined after it since selling. I viewed a 450 SE the other day which looked lovely however one thing bothers me. Despite the correct body, dash, badges, sill kick plates, black rocker covers? the reg document shows it as a 3500cc car. Any comment thoroughly welcome. Cheers Jim

I wouldnt worry too much, a fairly common occurance. My 400SE is down as a T400R which must make it really valuble

IIRC nearly all the Wedges were down as either Tasmins or 350's.

IIRC the 450SE I bought new in '89 was registered as a 350 in the log book. Meant TVR didn't have to do another type approval I believe!

I should add I've owned a pair of 450SE's in the past, and both of them were registered as 450SE with engine capacity of 4441cc if memory serves.

Hi there. I have bought the car in question, Registration 'G133PWW'. Was featured in Autocar I am led to believe in '91. 0-100-0 trial. Had a private plate then. I believe you may have owned the car back then? Would be great to chat about it if you have the time.
