Did the CARTEN100, Cardiff to Tenby on saturday. Ace event, very well organised.
The only downside was at Margam, where the A48 has been reduced by coning to one lane. Some moron in a Citroen C6 guns past approximately 30 single file cyclists, beeping his horn, and travelling at around 60mph and accelerating. Ooooooo, you are so hard Mr Citroen.
Missed his number plate, but his name rhymed with Anchor.

I did the hampdhire hilly hundred this weekend, was virtually all back lanes so I didn't see any traffic problems at all
However the puncture rate after the rain was terrifying, reckon from a field of 750 people there must of been over a 100 flats
quite a few people suffering multiples...
Good event though nearly 2500m of climb... feel a bit sore today.

There were loads of flats on the CARTEN too. I escaped, but my riding buddy had one 10miles from the end. However the puncture rate after the rain was terrifying, reckon from a field of 750 people there must of been over a 100 flats
