On the Sawston bypass this morning....
Please remember it is mirror, signal, manoeuvre. Pulling out to overtake a line of traffic is all well and good but next time make sure you are not just about to be overtaken yourself.

Thanks

D.

Maybe the same driver has in fact more cars than the blue Merc: I have seen him in many different sedans, hatchbacks, etc. everywhere across Europe.
He statistically appears every 00:04:34 !

Could be the same knob that overtook my wife on a speed hump (in a 30 zone).

Well, these SLK toys are creeping into the car fleets

I've done that before now - I used to live on a road 1500yds long with speed bumps every 30 yds - get stuck behind someone whose mean speed drops below 10 mph and progress becomes tiresome.

Interestigly, people in sports cars which had to go over the bumps slowly were mostly happy to let me past.

Twats in Metros and worse still people who slow down in Range Rovers for speed bumps were not.

All generally speaking and IMO etc.. and 'Knob' is far from the worst I've been called..

I'd like to extend my most humble apologies to the Aston Martin driver I met on the M40 last Saturday evening. My complete failure to react to your flashing headlights, parking in my boot and indicating left while we were both over taking a queue of slower traffic at a relative speed of 20mph and an absolute speed of 90mph was totally unreasonable. My antics of laughing at you and making lude gestures while moving back to the left hand lane and flooring it up to ... a certain speed ... that you seemed to have difficulty matching, was profoundly childish and failed to recognise your inherent superiority to me. I sincerely hope that you remembered to brake before the speed camera half a mile after I slowed down, as passing it at 120mph will probably be ... expensive.
Once again, I'm really really really sorry.
