The simple fact that they need to spend any money convincing us to like them is sufficient grounds to dissolve the whole damn farce IMHO.

It most certainly does, along with a ridiculous list of "benefits"..

Well they'll need to, once the general public finds out how much we are going to be spending on more bail outs to prop up the euro.

However: The simple fact they are spending this money means:

1) Public opinion counts
2) People all over europe are turning against it
3) They are getting worried.

So in fact this is _good_ news.

BTW they have always had a propaganda budget and they also have 'Common Purpose', the quisling infiltrators. As this brand of International Socialism is closely modelled on it's predecessor's National Socialism (The _Third_ Reich) it should not be a surprise.

I'm half way through The Great Deception by Christopher Brooker and Richard North at the moment, a clear and concise explanation of how an integrated Europe is being constructed around us whether we like it or not. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Great-Deception-Secret-His...

Gosh, all our German Team at work do is complain about how their funding the EU, seems to be a rising tide of anger in Germany over the whole thing.

Germans, net positive image of the EU: 10%. So yes I'd expect 90% of them to slag it off.
These graphs make it look like people support the EU - but look at the numbers, tells quite a different story..
