New badges for tuscan

The badges on my car are looking a little tatty.

Is there any other way to buy them except for the ones which are about £80 each! I did see a thread a while back where a guy had got a beautiful red rose badge made for the back for about £20, i think i,ll do something like that for the rear badge. How do they attach? Just stick on?

Then the front, any tips there?

Sadly every one I've seen comes from the 'TVR-so-quadruple-the-price' brigade so I'll be choosing a sunny day to sit on a stool with a small tin of black paint and a little brush.

I got my front one from ebay, there are normally some rear ones in the classifieds, about £20 normally.

Leven ? ... do refurbed versions of the originals at rearonable money.

Thanks, jujst had a look and they had a few other bits i'm after too.

I may have a go at refurbing myself (well i'll get my mate to spray it) just don't see how i'd do it and retain the contrasting lines, i suppose i could do it in all black easily enough, might look alright.

After initial treatment you may polish the colour back off for the contrasting lines, with some layers of final clear coat on top. Sandpaper in different granularities or a Dremel Multitool will help doing this job.

Not difficult, but questionable if worth the effort when you can get one off fleabay for a tenner.
