Picked up our GPA on Saturday from Research in Nuneaton.

Part ex'd our Punto Sporting which we'd owned for 9 years. I absolutely loved that car so hoping the new one gives us as many years fun.

I'm 39 1/2 weeks pregnant so not even driven it yet but did enjoy the test drive a few weeks ago.

Steve, my husband, is keen on the Essesse kit so we may consider that after Christmas once we've had a test drive in one.

Ian at Research has been good. Although there is seems to be a standard no discount policy across all Abarth dealers there is room to manoevre on a part ex and we got a very good price for the Sporting. Autoworld at Chesterfield weren't as keen to do a deal.

Abarth do seem to be missing a trick with advertising and accessories, etc and really need to try and time things a bit better for the launch of the 500 (no brochures, mats, etc yet available in the UK for the GPA).

Is that your old Punto?

How old was it, it looks in great condition.

Hi Catherine,

Yes, that was our old car. It was an '98 S reg with about 90k on the clock. It was mint and had lived a pretty comfortable life with 90% motorway miles. Hope it goes to a good home. thumbup
