So the 19th of July launch date came and went. My local Fiat dealers are all useless and can give me no information let alone a date or price.

Did anything happen on the 19th or is it delayed again?

I've not any news on the launch of this car. The only one I've seen was in a Fiat dealers in Tuscany a year ago!

I heard the release was postponed a week, and the launch is now on the 26th!

GPAs not released from Bristol to the dealers in time or something.

Thanks for the pictures Alan, I think it looks great. Looks very OTT in white but I have to admit thats part of its appeal.

Will be interested to see what this engine is like as it'll give clues about the 500 Abarth, although I don't think I want to test drive one otherwise I might buy one.

Got to say, I think the white isn't OTT, it really is the strongest colour in the range.
Drive the GP Abarth, with the difference in weight between it and 500, the power difference evens itself out, so it will give you a very good idea of how the 500 will perform. If you need any more info or help, visit www.vospers.com or as Alan says, e-mail JXC@vospers.com. He is our Abarth specialist and will be more than happy to answer any questions.

I meant OTT in a good way, not negative. It is pretty out there, and I'd agree its the best colour out of the choice.

Vospers is a bit far for me in the Midlands sadly, you were one of the first dealers to be announced though so best of luck.

It's a shame the white looks the strongest colour, we won't be able to supply one until October. The only white ones available at the moment ae still in the factory, apart from the very few supplied to the dealers, but most of those will be registered as demo.

The Punto is ace, the SS very hardcore. Been driving them for a couple of days now.

Lovely looking car. Hope to get a test drive at Autoworld in Chesterfield sorted in the next couple of weeks.

Any owners out there yet?

I think there are a few early owners on the Fiat Forum, have yet to see one on the road though yet.
