I have a Brera on loan whilst the 500 is in dealers having some paintwork attened to.

Turned up un the drive in it last night & Olivia (my 6yr old daughter) comes running out to great me saying "wow that car has a very sexy bottom daddy, look (pointing to the quad exhausts) it's got 4 engines too".

She proceeded to tell me it's a really nice car, then she had a sit in it & said (pointing at the 3 dials sunk deep into the centre console "thoses clocks are in toilet rolls"

I heard my five year old and his pal discussing how fast their Dad's cars went - based purely on the biggest number on the speedo.
laugh

The comment from the 3yr old was amusing too, we took the Brera out last night & she sat behind me " daddy, do I have to chop off my legs"

I would like you to know that you could have a more balanced and coherent conversation with my 5 year old than many of the posters on here. Just don't talk about Chick Hicks from Cars the Movie because "he's the baddie". Booo hiss.

I can remember my friends doing that when I was a kid. I think even at the time I was enough of a car geek to be putting them right.

The Brera appreciation is a very good foundation for life as a petrolhead. My earliest memory is of my dad's Alfetta GTV, I've been somewhat attracted to Alfas ever since.

I might even buy one some day... smile

You can go to bed at 7.15pm instead of 7.00pm.
How's that?

Classic. :P!
Agree with the comment about it usually being the other way round with Fiat groups curtosey cars, I'm guessing you guys have seen that article about Ferrari giving "special edition" red Fiat 500's as curtosey cars.

I really really want an Alfa 146 though...

To show my appreciation to the FIAT dealer for loaning me such a lovely car I did this to it.........

You should have seen the look on the service desk girls face when I asked if they minded me sorting the key mark that was in it, she though I a "a bit weird" I think.
