Punto Grande - May 2007 - CD not working

Hey, just when you think your new Fiat car is reliable, it fails...

Yes, 1 month out of the 12 month warranty for the CD/Radio player on my Punto Grande Active it decides stops accepting CD's. Radio works fine...

Push the CD in and after 2-3 seconds of a 'clicking' sound the CD is ejected. Tried various ways of sliding CD in gently to pushing it in hard, all to no avail.

Fiat being Fiat don't want to know, or assist in any way, so its up to all you great people in 'pissed in the head' land to help find a solution - without buyng a new CD/Radio player.

Now that the gauntlett has been set down - come back with spot on answers...

i'll ask at work 2morro for you mate, we've not had any in with that problem though.
im in the middle of doing a full wiring loom because the abs plug got fried (water got in it)

keep your abs plug dry ! lol
