Ive heard good things about Ferodo DS2000 pads......
I had DSPerformance pads on my Sportwagon and they were excellent. That's the current name for the old DS2000. DS2500 are also good but perhaps a bit hard for everyday use and are technically not road legal so the insurance might have a wobbly. Just use OEM spec disks. Other than that check the tyres are in good nick and enjoy yourself! If you want a gentle introduction to tracking your Alfa, the Owners Club event at Donington in October is a great day out and is just for Alfas!
