Fiat Punto Radio Fitting Guide
Discussion
Hi Guys - broke the cassette stereo so bought a new one (well CD!) and the facia blanking panel and fitting kit, but alas no instructions !
Anyone got a web guide or willing to talk me through it?
Has a couple of prongs and I note some holes, but not entirely sure how it would come away !
Thanks
L5.

you can buy these 'stereo keys' which are bits of metal you stick through the holes on the stereo to trip the catches holding it in place. if you have any big paperclips (the ones that are a couple of inches long) then you can bend these and save yourself about £10.
anyway, just stick these clips in the holes and the stereo should slide out. then you need to unclip the ISO block and pull out the ariel connection.
next you fit the blanking plate (should just clip into place) and then plug the ISO block into the new stereo along with the ariel connector (you may need an adapter which can be bought from Halfords for a few quid)
then just slide the whole lot back into the hole and power it up!
Aswell as fiat forum, you could also try www.puntomk2.co.uk for more help

Thanks guys.....
Muddled through it using this guide

Only thing I'd add is the keys to remove it - push all the way in. Ones I had were slightly the wrong shape took me ages to figure out why it wasn't releasing. If in doubt bang it in harder
