I have an S4. Had it for 5 years, used it everyday for 3 years and had very little problems.
They seem to be very reasonably at the moment. You can pick up a good one for around £4k. I think they can only go up in value from here.
Look out for rust, it is not as bad as the earlier models but still an issue. Electrics on mine are a nightmare but you get used to it!!
No RHD were made therefore they are all imported and converted. This means that the standard of work on the conversions vary greatly. Mine was done badly but I have seen many very good ones.
Parts are very easy to get and reasonably priced.
I think its a beautiful looking car that will hold its value. Mine certainly brings me enough pleasure to make up for its few problems.
