Me too, got mine a few weeks ago - a 156 2.0 twinspark lusso.
It's been naughty already (got too hot) but that's just bad luck, just the fan didn't come on. Back on track now and enjoying it. Polished it today so it sparkles.

I managed to wash it today - I will do my correction work soon enough, but it will do for now.

God Alfa make pretty cars, I could live with one of those quite easily.
I currently have a banger 146Ti which is a cheap runabout but thats very nice.

oh, erm, don't break any keys. I did (getting it out of the ignition barrel was a job and a half) and a replacement is £150 from a dealer cos of all the electronic gubbins inside eek

146ti - is that the boxer lump? I don't know that much about them to be honest.

Pics?

In line 4 cylinder lump, sounds great, handles well and is pretty nippy

And ya know what? I got it for £1300 which is about 300 too much, I got a full leather interior front/back seats and 4 door cards for £180 and wishbones complete with bushes are about £12 each.
It'll do 350 - 380 on a tank, got a cd autochanger and costs £300 to insure fully comp.
Its 4 door and roomy in the back, decent boot size so practical and 'a nice colour', as my wife puts it.
Its a great second car.

Hi and welcome to Alfa ownership!

I have a 156 V6 and it has the same colour combination as yours (black & grey leather) although she's year 2000 and a bit tatty with it (perfect running gear) One thing i recommend you do is look after the black paint! No mechanical car washes, as the paint is quite soft and swirls very easily!!

I am sad enough to enjoy 'detailing' and 'correction work'. I use x3 buckets just to wash it!

It is a great colour though biggrin

Sounds just like mine - 156 V6 2000 wagon. Proper workhorse, chipped nose and the odd small scratch, but she's sound and I love her to bits.

Tis true, Alfa make pweddy cars.
