Giulietta Engine Warning Light - Which OBD reader?

Hi! I have a Giulietta 1.4 multi air.

A few weeks ago the engine warning light came on, just co-incided with me adding some fuel I'd drained from another car, so not sure if it's connected?

Anyway, I was thinking it might be worth buying a OBD reader and seeing if it's just a fault code I can clear or something I can DIY?

Are these type of readers worth buying (and would clear codes etc):

Or would I need to buy a more expensive one that plugs in with handheld display type?
