I just reserved a 2021 plate 595 Comp, really looking forward to it. I want to drive it for a couple of months to get used to it and then remap it, I have seen a remap from Superchips to take it up to 205bhp.

Before I do... I wanted to check if anyone has had any bad experiences remapping this engine, would taking it over 200bhp be pushing it a bit too much and a recipe for high repair bills? Can anyone recommend a better remap offering at a similar price point, if one is available?

Generic maps are fine on these. Had my 180 Comp done and It's a noticeable improvement.
Not a great believer in dyno results as I think all dynos are optimistic but it deffo feels quicker.
I've had two Abarths mapped now and no ill effects or EML lights on.
Just do it.

Superchips are no longer Superchips by the way, they were bought out years ago and are now sister company with a company called Remap Kingz

Look for a professional tuner, I think most people recommend Ade Edmunson I think his name is for 595 stuff.

You just need to look at the before and after results ignore the actual figures, if your 180 makes 150 on a RR and then 170 after that +20 gain should put it at 200.
