Hi All,

I have a 4C spider on lease that's due back soon. There's a small stonechip on the windscreen - 2 or 3 mm - in front of the driver.

Autoglass website says it doesn't need a repair (my insurance excess for a repair is £10)
BVRLA fair wear and tear says up to 10mm is acceptable

Does anyone have any direct experience of how Leasys will treat this?

Thanks

I wouldn't worry, if BVRLA say OK & Autoglass say it doesn't need doing

If they pick it up say you will get it repaired & use your insurance companies approved repairer, most are national companies so could go to wherever leasys take the car and do the repair.

I've never had a lease car but I would trust they inspect when they collect so if they find it later its their issue

For the sake of £10 and to save potential arguements later, I've just had Autoglass repair a similar sized chip on my 4C.
I really couldn't be bothered with the hassle.
