Does anyone have any info on the launch date for the new GTV/Giulia Coupe? I read it was supposed to be Geneva 2019 but nothing happened.

I'm having to replace my Giulia after an insurance write off and would love a coupe. I don't want to lock myself into a 3/4 year PCP/PCH deal on a new Giulia if the coupe is coming soon but equally I need a daily driver so have to buy something. Having a rough idea on launch date would help me decide.

I reckon it’s at least two years away and it’s not a certainty that it will happen at all. You would probably be safe to lock yourself into a three year deal. Even i it does end up at two years at least the supply will have picked up after a year sufficiently to offer some opportunity for deals to be made.
I have eighteen months left on mine and had a notion I might look at a Coupe next, but I’ve given up hope of that working.

Looks like the market is for compact and standard SUVs now. For example, Ford don't plan to make any sedan type cars for the US now. I suspect the next thing we may see a is an AWD QV.

Check the new T&Cs for Alfa PCP as it now mentions a Brexit surcharge.

Back on topic, does anyone have a deposit down for one of these? My kids are about to outgrow my 911 so a 4-seat coupe is the next step.....

Still just a myth isn't it?
I've seen no test mule photos or any spy shots, nothing from the sensible sources, all just speculation.

No because it doesn't exist and never will!

This won't happen. As the usual way of the FCA group, they'll design and build a prototype/concept car and umm and ahh about whether to make it or not...and if they do make it then it'll be a few years down the line.

Now that Sergio Marchionne has gone, I'll be very surprised if the FCA group will bring anything as important out now, and by important I mean cars like the Giulia, Stelvio and possibly Tonale. FCA constantly restyle/facelift old models which are very long in the tooth, yet other makers are a couple of years ahead when it comes to bringing out a new small hatch.

The company needs to seriously up its game.

Agree with this.. I was interested in a coupe version for over 1.5 years now, they just sweat their assets for as long as possible...

I also think that Fiat should've made the Barchetta in RHD as they were selling pretty well despite being LHD only. They shot themselves in the foot unfortunately.

My bet would be that FCA concentrate all their efforts/money on their SUV/Jeep platforms..As I read Fiat will pull out of the US, as no one wants small cars, however Jeep is doing rather well..

Yeah, I read that too. Would be nice if they brought out another hot hatch or Coupe.
