Anyone else feel Fiat's current line up is weak

I currently drive a Fiat punto evo 1.6 diesel and I'm loving it. I was curious to see what else Fiat could offer but was met with disappointment when i seen that fiat only seem to be making vans and 500 variants. Kinda liked the look of the Bravo but that was killed off.
What's your guys take on this?

I find it weak but I also find that the FCA group take an age replacing a car. All it seems to be are facelifts/updates. It was the same with Alfa before the Giulia and Stelvio appeared. They had the Mito, Giulietta and 4C and that was it.
Fiat have the 500 in 4 iterations, Panda and the Tipo at the moment although I'm sure they stopped making the Grande Punto recently.
I'm a huge Italian car fan and find FCA do like to create concepts and either never make them or take forever to put them into production.
I also think they should've made the Barchetta from the 90's in RHD as people loved it and it still sold in decent numbers despite being LHD.

Plus the 124.The Panda and 500 are pretty old though (Panda recently got a 1 star NCAP rating!), and the Tipo very uninspiring.
The 500 seems to be keeping them afloat and still sells well despite being over 10 years old! Does need a replacement soon though...

Alfa have been making a pretty decent comeback recently, though some of their models are starting to look a bit long in the teeth. Fiat have the 500 in 4 iterations, Panda and the Tipo at the moment although I'm sure they stopped making the Grande Punto recently.

The 500 and panda surely has to be replaced soon, the Tipo looks alright but its a bit budget on the inside.
Its much down to Marchionne's (RIP) total loss of interest in the brand, and general no-knowledge on cars (but finance).
Lets just hope the Elkann's can muster some new energy in branding Fiat & Lancia. There is only one (1) way of building the image = to build great cars. They CAN do it, they even have the RWD Giorgio platform now, I hope they see the opportunitys.
Fiat hasn't had a good line-up since they scrapped the Coupe & Barchetta 15 years ago.

I just sold my Coupe to my mate (who now has three of them) and we both said that those two you've noted were a great line up back then. The Punto Turbo GT was a pretty decent car too.Baaaz said:

This is a source of woe to Mrs Dawg. She has a Punto Evo and loves it but it's getting a bit leggy now (9 years, 90,000 miles) so she's thinking of getting another. But they don't make them now, The Panda is too small, 500 is "too twee", the Tipo is too big. Somewhere in the middle between 500 and Tipo is the 500 L which is uglier than a fight at a gypsy wedding and is bigger than it needs to be.

Her view is that Fiat's USP is the compact cheap supermini that you can fit four or five adults in, she's only ever owned 3 cars, a 1986 Uno, a 1999 Punto and this 2010 Punto Evo and they've all done just that.
