Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio... reliability

I'm about 6 months off of ordering my next motor and have test driven the Quadrifoglio and love it, it felt so put together great at all speeds etc etc. My concern is the reliability, this will be my daily for business only doing 18k mile a year but need it to be reliable (am I barking up the wrong tree?). historically I've had Audi's and currently own a Jaguar XE S, that has not missed a beat.
I have seen a few reviews that have had issues but this was when they were just realised

A very few cars have had issues but sometimes I wonder if the owner is the one with the issues and not the car. Those issues are usually software glitches that dealers can sort out without problems but of course, with any car from any brand you can have a lemon. If you look at the real statistics you'll see it's actually pretty reliable compared to its German rivals, you just don't hear the noise from the press if an //M car goes pop.
It's your money at the end of the day. Your profile suggests you're a life liver, and that might well be the answer to your question.

Thanks for feed back and great to hear as I so want to get this I just don’t want to be on the side of the road. My Jag has had a few software issues that acceptable for me, even limp Home mode with less power would no break my hart!

28k miles and just had its third service. No significant issues I can think of. Boot lid was out of alignment and scraping top of bumper form new. Two headlights have failed - full beam failed on one and the replacement filled up with condensation that never cleared. All fixed under warranty with no quibble. That's it really. Great car!

Did a trip to Italy and back summer of 2017 4 up with 2 weeks worth of luggage.
Couple of minor issues all sorted under warranty no problem.
Mine is outside in wind, rain, sun etc all year round. Had it ceramic coated from new and still looks like new now. Detailer said the paint was very good (Competition Red tri-coat so I guess it should be).

16.5k in mine owned 1 year, niggles - alarm sensitivity fixed with new module. EML came on last month, took it to the dealer they said a connection to one of the turbos was loose and they repaired. I think I've heard somebody else have the same issue. I can't remember exactly what they said, excuse my brain as I'm jetlagged from a long haul holiday.
Other than that it's been perfect and I wouldn't change it for anything else.

I’ve decided with this feed back ( plus how impressed I was with it) that when the time comes its the car for me. It will be a 3 year contract hire so I’ll have to stick with it through thick or thin for that time.
A few light and niggles is no problem I just don’t want to be on the side of the road and missing a meeting. Recon/ hope il be converted to an Alfa fan quickly.

It's unlikely to leave you stranded. Most people who find themselves sat in the car awaiting a recovery do so because they don't consider that it might just need a reboot. Outside the obvious mechanical failures most faults are down to software niggles and driver error. I've had a CEL 3 times in 2 years. Every time it's been down to something that I've done or not done. Simply start the car a half a dozen or so times and it'll reset. If it won't then you'll need further assistance. But at least try first. A few light and niggles is no problem I just don’t want to be on the side of the road and missing a meeting. Recon/ hope il be converted to an Alfa fan quickly.

Drive the car hard enough that it's regularly up to temperature. This also keeps it fit and healthy in my opinion.
Make sure you clean the windscreen and sensors / radar regularly. A common dashboard message is the collision control or active headlights unavailable. This is usually down to dirty sensory equipment.
Super unleaded is key. I use shell nitro plus for every 5 tanks of Tesco momentum. Momentum cones from the same refinery as the shell stuff, it just doesn't get the bio bit.
Don't run the tank low on fuel. The last bit of the tank disappears very quickly and a few have been caught out needing juice.
2 out of 3 CEL that I've seen have been down to me letting somebody in or out of the car with the gearbox in drive and the start stop active. For some reason it doesn't like it and throws a hissy. Before they or you open the doors make sure it's in park or neutral and the parking brake on. The other CEL I had was when I run low on fuel on track. All the above are easily remedied with 6 or so restarts.
Finally, just relax and don't worry about it. A lot of the hype about reliability is just that..... hype. Quick to blame the car / Alfa, they proclaim the problem is in the brand and so on. Look at BMW etc for reliability. You just don't hear the noise in public.

So next question for you QV drivers, whilst a relatively small point, I feel they have made a mistake only offering the full exhaust noise when in race (with NO traction assist) has anyone over ridden this , I understand there is a remote option?
As I will be customer facing with this car, I want to be able to keep the noise down for those times, but full "boy racer" without the concern of falling off the road?
