For the last 3 months I've been attempting to find out details of what (if anything) AR offer to customers whose cars are still in warranty in order to extend it. I know that the warranty product is branded as "Mopar" but seemingly no one from either AR customer services or any of the 9 main dealers I've approached knows anything about what it costs and importantly what it covers...
Anyone on here managed to get any more info?

Thanks Joe,
I've seen that document, I think it relates only to the product sold to extend the warranty at the point of sale for a brand new car, it can't be bought to cover a used vehicle.
I agree the dealers should know, I've called practically all of them and not one seems to know anything about the product including the two wholly owned AR main dealers that AR customer services directed me to...

That's weird. I definitely had 2 different dealers quote me for Extended warranties.

I'll do some digging.

Ok, finally got to the bottom of this, well sort of...
It would seem that a 2 year warranty extension based upon my current mileage (1200) would cost £1021. The warranty apparently mirrors the Alfa manufacturers warranty but when I requested a document detailing what is covered etc I was told that one wasn't available as the dealer I was talking to had "only just started offering it".. in addition the warranty can't be purchased until close to the end of the manufacturers warranty but they weren't sure exactly how close, close means..
All in all, it's the usual crystal clear Alfa Romeo customer service experience!
