Always been a fan of the Integrale and, although the purists will probably be dismissive, I love restomods so this ticks lots and lots of boxes for me. £300k though - oof!

I’m avoiding the main thread on this because it’s the usual s who run a Focus ST and don’t know jack.

I wouldn’t buy this if it was 30k let alone 300k.
It is everything an Integrale wasn’t. It’s a contrived sparkly bodgey pastiche job.

Lancias were either classy or just plain Hard. They did not “try too hard”. This thing is all about trying too hard to Be An All You Can Be Integrale, whilst also completely missing it’s point. It’s fair to say I’ve not come across another car that has raised my heckles quite so much in a long time. My Verde York wouldn’t have pissed on this if it was on fire.

No, don’t be coy! Tell me what you really think...;)

Personally, I think that’s a bit of a harsh assessment but I get that you, being a (lucky),actual owner of the genuine article, could see it that way.

I’m a fan of restomods because I love the individuality that older cars often have whilst offering the technological benefits and reliability of updated mechanicals etc. so pretty much a win / win.

Many, mainstream, modern cars seem a lot more homogeneous to me - I used to be able to identify any car from a distance but nowadays most are almost indistinguishable from others of the same sector.

I reckon this Integrale looks -and probably performs - very well indeed.

So where on that scale would the following sit?

Trevi
Prisma
Y10
Dedra
Thema
Kappa
Delta Mk 2
Ypsilon
Musa
Zeta

And that's before you even get to the travesty of the rebadged Chrysler models such as the 300C based Thema, the Delta Mk 3, 2013 Flavia.

The founder of Singer was the first person to buy this AA Integrale.

You’d be surprised. It’s literally very positive over in that thread.

again they use a base integrale to build this with lots of carbon I think?
the other one was with a lot alu and many changes.

many moons ago they also used new HF integrale evo's, for another rare beast, I was once in the garage who build (partly) those,
the Lancia Hyena zagato, I was there to buy sych Evo bonnet for my lancia delta integrale, they had many...new from the new cars stripped to build them into the Hyena.

In The early 1990’s, Lusso Service Holland decided to recreate the enthusiasm that surrounded cars built at the peak of Zagato’s collaboration with Lancia in the 1960’s. The brief was simple, design a classic two-door coupe incorporating Zagato’s much-loved styling ques, such as the ‘double-bubble’ roof. The design was completed by Marco Pedracini of the Zagato Style Centre and was unveiled at the 1992 Brussels motor show.

The Hyena was built on the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo 1, and was designed to be a limited-run production coupe paying tribute to the Delta and its phenomenal competition success. Initially there were plans to build around 500 examples, but this was quickly adjusted to 75, with only 25 Hyena’s actually completed due to unexpectedly high production costs.

The manufacturing process of this car was incredibly expensive. Lusso Service purchased 25 Delta’s and shipped them to Holland where the body and interiors were removed. Next, the cars were sent to Zagato in Milan, Italy to be fitted with new aluminium coupe bodies before returning to Holland where Lusso Service completed the assembly. This manufacturing process led to a hefty price of $75,000!

Once complete, the Hyena weighed 1,150 kgs, roughly 15% lighter than the production Delta Integrale, whilst retaining it’s 1,995 cc engine, five-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive system, resulting in a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds!
