Not sure what offends the most, their use of "zooming" or the fact they have labelled it a SupercarAJ100hp said:
it was twenty minutes or so after his incident that I passed, he was out and on his phone and didn’t look like he wanted bothering.
I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing, but I spotted the reg and recognised i’d MOT’d it late September
And you didn't spot the wheel was going to fall off , Id keep quiet about that I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing, but I spotted the reg and recognised i’d MOT’d it late September

To need an MOT it must have been a very early car then, sadly it wont be needing another MOT,
But hes OK & it was being driven, not sitting in a garage like so many

its not even the worst bit of the snake pass, maybe a sheep was in the road, seen it before!
Seen it? I hit it! A sheep shot out in front of me from out of a long line of traffic on the other side of the road. How it missed the cars on the other side, if indeed it did, I'll never know.Apologies for the thread revival, but I came across this 4C for sale as a spares/repair project.
Based on the damage shown - what are the chances of getting this back on the road and 100%?
Seller seems honest and tells me it needs an entirely new suspension setup on the corner where it lost the wheel, the shaft snapped in half so didn't shear off from the gearbox and apparently the weld failed where the suspension is joined to the subframe. Are these genuinely designed to do this to avoid further damage to the frame/chassis in the event of an impact?

If so the seller has priced the parts but a lot will depend on whether the carbon fibre tub is compromised I suspect.
He says no damage whatsoever to the carbon fibre tub as he's inspected it before buying. Also said there's no further chassis damage other than what's been detailed already.
Where would you even begin to look for buying a replacement subframe bracket for the suspension assembly? Alfa Romeo direct?
