Hello gang,

My friend is fortunate enough to be imminently taking delivery of his launch edition 4C. He went to visit it this weekend but due to some beautifully Italian invoicing process (Maserati invoices Alfa Italy cos they built it, Alfa Italy invoice Alfa UK then Alfa UK invoice him, he pays Alfa UK where the chain fortunately stops as far as his taking ownership is concerned) he wasn't able to take it away there-and-then.

Anyway, he's now looking in to insurance. He, what with this being the first "proper" car he's ever bought, doesn't know the best place to start looking for quotes. Are there any recommended insurers/brokers around?

It should be fairly simple. His missus will be the main (if not only) driver, she's 50, clean licence etc. but he's concerned (rightly or wrongly) that the car might be a bit specialist for the old meerkat or whatever.

Thanks,
Phil.

Chris Knott (01424 200 477) are Alfa insurance specialists although they insure any car.

I'm sure Chris Knott could help but as they offer a discount to AROC members it would almost certainly pay to join AROC at the same time.

By the way your friend is very lucky.... smile

Another vote for Chris Knott. Not necessarily always the cheapest but they offer a first class service. Neil Franklin the MD is a very knowledgable and approachable chap too.
