Great cars but lots of model specific parts which are very rare which makes restoration uneconomic. Shame as they were a a proper old school hatch with a real motorsport feel, not the same but I have a soft spot for the Tipo Sedicivalvole, another forgotten Fiat which was well respected in it's day.
I've a few, (Mk1 65, 85, 105 & 3 130's) with a couple on the road at present. Most could be legal, if needed.
You might find this one interesting;-

Its a Seat Ronda- the Spanish version, originally built under licence, but when they fell out with Fiat -they had to change sufficient ot avoid a charge of plagerism (tested in Court- they painted all the altered parts yellow, and the Judge accepted that it wasn't the same car!)
So, aside from square headlights its full of bonkers alterations that make no sense whatsoever. Half are self defeating -the rest plain bizarre.
Bit different, eh?

I've had 3 Mk1 Strada's (65Cl & 2 105TCs) and a 130TC.
There are quite a few being restored including my closest mate who's almost finished his one. Auto Italia at Brooklands this year had seven Strada's in differing variants. Once Indoors, I will post a few pics of said restoraton and car show pics.
By the way, I love them so much. Have another friend who's turbocharged the original engine rather than transplant one from another Fiat/Lancia.

Remember those SEATs well from Spanish holidays in the 80s, the SEAT Malaga was the Regata equivalent, think that was imported in the UK? Seem to remember there was an Abarth 125TC in Italy as well, was this the predecessor to the 130 or did they run concurrently?
The 125TC was a Mk1 105 with differing stickers, brakes amongst other things and the 2.0 lump with a single twin choke carb. It felt quick as I remember driving an imported one years ago.Great response, glad so many remember them. Nigel, great to see the Seat version as that's rare and would love to see some pictures of your others. Dunk130tc great pictures also and in my favourite colour to. Going to restore my 105tc and 130 soon and currently looking for new old stock parts. ( Want them like new so any advice appreciated). Viggyp please see if you have any old pics and try and post some of your friends projects if possible and same if you can also Renorti.
I'm glad at least some people remember them as fabulous cars and if anyone gets a chance to drive one then the must and Crostonian I hear you on that about the Tipo Sedicivalvole a real overlooked fantastic hatch.
Good spot Greenhell it will be interesting to see what the final sale price is but more importantly another one is saved.

Used to have a Mk1 105tc then a 130TC.
I remember my Mk1 105tc very fondly. Particularly the Ansa exhaust, the 3 red gauges with proper information (not a goddamn clock!) and the flyswat throttle.
