Mmm, I can't understand why he 'wouldn't be happy' about something that has nothing to do with him.

Did it end up getting sold? There's a 3.2 GT up for sale at the moment with yellow callipers in Derby.
There can't be many of them around that have had their callipers painted yellow!

I've had a couple of issues with mine since I bought it...
First of all I paid twice the price, and its LHD because I chose to live in the Alps.
Its a 2.0 JTS with 90,000km on the clock.
I made sure that the dealer replaced the cam belt when we bought it as this job had not been done.
I had some noise coming from the front wishbones, which didn't surface until I had drove a couple of hundred km, I guess the dealer had greased the bushes so it wasn't noticeable on the test drive. There was no noticeable knocking just more of an annoyance.
Then I noticed on a longer drive during the summer that the coolant temp wouldnt reach 90c, only when I came to stop or had the engine heavily loaded up hills. As soon as I was at cruising speed the temp would drop down to 75ish.
Then ski season arrived, it basically got battered with snow, ice and road salt for a month before I gave it a full detail again after the winter wheels were fitted. The problem I then found was that there is a paint bubble that has appeared on my rear bumper where it wraps around near the wheel arch....as this is plastic it cant be rust right? Since washing the car again, the paint blister has gotten bigger, now the size of my thumb.
So as my car came with 6 months warranty she went in, new front wishbones and bushes installed along with a new thermostat sensor. Problem solved!! No questions asked, so I drove away happy.
Then driving the car into work I was taking a roundabout with a little more pace to assess the front end noises....only to get a beep and a "Low Oil Pressure" warning light on the dash. Checked the oil level after work and it was just below the bottom limit.
Filled up with 10w60 Shell Helix Racing oil from the local shell station, then found the tag that showed the garage had filled it up with 10w40 back in August....looks like she is drinking quite a bit!
Ive covered approx 6,000km since I bought her, still love it!
