Great colour!
The wheels shouldn’t be black though.
Enjoy it.
Thank you and yes I know, can see why the original owner did it (black roof/ black Brembo brakes/ gloss black mirror option) but I’m torn. The wheels shouldn’t be black though.
Enjoy it.
Will either put them back to diamond cut or just get used to them. Need to have a look and see what the original paint code was for the non diamond cut part.
Any ideas?

I went bronze with my wheels as I didn’t like black.

I’m not sure on a paint code - best off asking a decent refinisher how best to approach it.

Many thanks, had another look at mine today and definitely not hating them being in black. Did bit of a trawl last night and I'm still sure they are black from the factory albeit more satin than mine.I went bronze with my wheels as I didn’t like black.
Think I'm going to leave them for a while now but might look at a dark graphite with the diamond cut "bits" made diamond cut again.
Good choice of tyre btw, got them on 3 of the other cars and they work really well vs cost. Mine has still got the original Pirelli on all round surprisingly.
Standard comp wheels are matt black. I had mine re-done in satin black as it wasn't possible to re-cut the outer portions due to them having been done more than once before and the embossed outer sections weren't proud enough.
I live with it. First world problems and all that.........

Thanks for the votes of confidence for the black wheels above…they stay for the time being.
Hadn’t thought that actually it might not be possible to recut them, still think the ones on mine have been done to match the black optioned other parts. Looks like only one of the fronts had been kerbed (and repaired) in the past so fingers crossed.
Thanks again.

I've just joined you all.
My 70th birthday next week, and treated myself to a 595 70th edition. Seems like it's just an ordinary 595, 145bhp with a couple of extra badges.
Record grey with yellow stripes. Got it for £10.5k, 2020reg, 37250 miles from a main dealer and with a proper warranty.
As you all say, it's a hoot to drive, but of course, may soon need more power....

This has now been reclassified as for weekend, car events and Abarth meets usage. No longer insured for commuting.
Still not warmed up to the e-Barth EV. Very expensive and poor range. Which is manifested in plunging used values.

I think I’ve only ever seen one e-Barth out in the wild.

Hi all,
Just had a bit of a shock. Quotes for £670 and £684 for the year 2 service on my 595 comp!
It’s only done 3k miles but no low miles option to reduce the cost.
It seems a complete rip off to me at that price. Am I right?
Simon - if you see this what was the garage in south wales that you take yours to that you mentioned at the meet on Sunday?
I was only getting done by the dealer at year 2 to preserve the warranty but I’m thinking again now if I have the option of a specialist in south Wales.
Thanks
I used Garden City Garage in Crynant last time around. Came highly recommended & I was very please. TBH, with such low mileage, I’d go oil, filter, brake fluid change & a check over.Just had a bit of a shock. Quotes for £670 and £684 for the year 2 service on my 595 comp!

No need for plugs etc IMO.
They’ll use genuine bit from Shop4Parts.
Many thanks
Excellent value at £200 and a free loan car of a good standard.
Great garage and thanks for the tip Simon.

My 595 comp was in for an oil change, brake fluid change and check over at Garden City Garage yesterday. They were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Great set up and I’ll definitely be back and happy to recommend them. Had a chat with the owner who is clearly interested in Abarths and cares.

Great stuff. It was Carlo with the MM Spider & Biposto who recommended them to me Excellent value at £200 and a free loan car of a good standard.
Great garage and thanks for the tip Simon.
