1998 - C55 AMG
Discussion
I have seen these occasionally pop up in the classifieds. At the time of build I believe there was a substantial price premium over the C43. I'd be careful of paying too much of a premium now though, as the current C32 puts out the same BHP as the C55. For some reason the AMGs, although rare and high performance, don't seem to have a collectors market in the same way that original M3s, 635csi or 911RS derivatives do.

Interesting car, but if the C32 has the same performance I would imagine it's overpriced.
I don't suppose you would see another one on your daily trip to and from work though!
