'99 CLK MAF toast after battery change - be warned
Discussion
Guys and Gals.
Thought I'd do the wife a favour (big, huge, massive mistake) after car stranded her the other day. Cab hood stopped and car wouldn't start. Father in law says battery probably shagged.
So, order new battery.
Change battery tonight.
Do everything in the right order - neg off first, etc etc
Car now completely fricking undrivable. Twunt of a thing.
Looks like (as I have now discovered on an MB forum) that replacing the battery can often shag a perfectly good MAF sensor.
So, I have just wated an evening and toasted £100 worth of MAF and the original battery was probably fine anyway.
I wish she'd park the f&&cking thing somewhere in Liverpool!
Did I mention I fecking hate her fecking car and want to fire bomb the piece of fecking shart.
Not to mention the ASR light came on last week too.
kkkkkhhhhhhuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnttttttttttttttttttttt
Off to drink beer.
