Parts for car in Spain

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help, one of my Dads neighbours in Spain needs a part for his Merc, he has been quoted £800.00 out there for it, is there any parts people over here he could try, I think its a Starter ring or somehting that he needs? They don't need to ship to Spain just UK and I can send it onto him.

Any help much appreciated.
