R129 assistance

Hi all. Does anyone know if the electric steering wheel is supposed to go up and down as well as towards / away the fascia? Mine seems to only go towards / away and not up and down.

If it's like my 99 C class it only adjust fore-aft, also the R129s I've looked at have been the same.

It goes up and down and in and out.

Thanks all. I half suspected in went up and down. It must be the switch that is faulty. Will probably cost an arm and a leg to have repaired! Oh well.

Sorted mine by wiggling the switch about!!
