First service on S65
Discussion
Hi, newbie here (though active in Italian forum).
I've just ordered a new AMG S65 in Australia and expect delivery next week. I want to take the car on a 3,000km journey straight away but I'm concerned that it will require its first service well before the 3,000km is done.
Does anyone know when the first service is scheduled on this model? The saleman doesn't know and doesn't expect to find out before the car arrives.

i think that's disgraceful - for any sale - let alone for one for that amount of money i'd expect him to get off his backside and find out.SpydieNut said:

I've now got the manual - no reference to a running-in service. However, it does say AMG cars should not be driven over 140km/h for the first 1,500km - that might be hard to achieve!
Car arrives today - I'm just a bit excited.
Well you should take it moderately to start with, I would keep the revsCar arrives today - I'm just a bit excited.
