Hi all
I have just picked up my C63 from London and did a quick trip over to Germany. I could not beleive how good the car was. The sales man said to keep the rev's under 4,500 for the first 1,000 miles, which I did so to my surprise the car could still do an indicated 160mph and felt like it. This is my first Merc and will not be my last. It feels as quick as my M5 but handles better.

Sorry for not getting back sooner I got Black with Black leather, Now you have picked yours up what do you think. I have now done my 1000 miles and have been for a blast and waht a fast car and up here in Edinburgh it is the only one I have seen. Will not have it long as my 911 turbo should be here at the end of June but I have ordered another one for March next year.
Wow i cant wait to get to the magic 1000 miles and really give it some stick.
I am really impressed with the car cant get over the power delivery very smooth but its the sound that i love. The exhaust note is to die for.
Only up to 200 miles so far but i am trying to get away so i can rack some miles up.
Love the seats and the driving position too seem perfect for my size anyway.
I think the car is going to live up to its press reputation of being lively though, the back end is light for sure.
Drove it four up the other day and it drove so much better grip wise.
Haven't seen any others down here yet although the dealer does have an Iridium Silver one here.
I bet the sound must be superb at 7200 rpm

I'm in Edinburgh as well - went out to Newbridge to look at theirs last week. Seriously thinking about getting one in October. Did you get the performance pack, and is suspension, ride Ok on Edinburgh roads? That's the bit I keep reading about as an issue, but don't think anyone tested it with PP in reviews I've seen. In an R8 at the moment.
