I wish!

There are some videos of American reviews on youtube. Seems more hardcore than the normal version (CLK 63 AMG). It's also only got two seats, if that is one of the reasons for choosing a CLK...

Haven't driven one, but saw a beautiful CLK63 Black Series at the Nordschleife last week, it sounded animal! Big wide arches and everything.

Took one out a few days ago as it´s on the short list of cars to replace my Cayman S.
All I can say is OH MY GOD! and that´s just the sound when you start it up. This is one serious bit of kit and will not be everyones cup of tea but I loved it(the wife preferred the Audi R8,Vantage and 997). You slide into the AMG bucket seats and you feel like you are in a DTM machine. Round town it´s pleasant to drive (apart from it´s pretty thirsty), 7 speed autobox is perfect for this car,get out of town and it becomes an animal.Guy at the dealers showed me all the suspensions settings you can have but I just left it as standard.
Round the country lanes it feels small an agile, almost like a ferrari sometimes and on the autobahn(had a tyre deflate at 285km/h)it is seriously quick through the gears, there´s just mountains of torque when you need it.
Only criticism I have is one that I have heard before but it is absolutely true and that is when you are driving hard the gearbox is a bit stuborn on the downshift, you select a gear and if it thinks there are too many RPM´s it won´t give you the gear till it´s ready. Apart from that Brilliant!
So good in fact that I am on the look out for one to buy, wanted to order there and then but the production run is finished and all cars have been sold.
Hope this little insight was helpful

I've passengered a friends CLK Black Series - Just the most exhilerating experience you can imagine biggrin Sounds savage, sticks to the road like a limpet (once its warmed up), and it just looks the b******s biggrin Then turn off the traction control, 1/4 throttle, and leave nice big fat number 11's wherever you want. Perfectwink My new fave car for circa £100k biggrin
