My wifes E320CDi 2001 plate needs new pads. I'm going to change them all round, are they straight forward?

I've changed pads on a VW Bora and Toyota Supra before without problem, anything to look out for on these?

Yes its pretty easy, be prepared to file down the paint off the sides of the pads if they don't quite fit in. You don't need to remove the entire caliper from the hub, there are 2 bolts to remove just the section with the pads.

The pins can get sticky, make sure you have a big wHammer.

If you need to remove the rear disc make sure you turn the disc to reveal the gear for the parking brake through the hole, and turn the gear to pull the shoes back in.
