1996 C 220D Auto Real world MPG ??
Discussion
Hi
I have a new job that requires a lengthy commute, I live 1 mile from the motorway junction and the job is 1 mile from the motorway junction at the other end, so its a 98 mile round trip.
I was considering a C220 D auto as I have other things to spend my money on at the mo, being straight out of uni (saving for a house) and theres quite a few 220's for about the 1500 quid mark and theyre dirt cheap to insure but I was wondering what the realistic MPG I could get on mainly motorway driving?
I was also considering a late 190D, again an auto and theyre similiar money to insure and a wee bit cheaper to buy, however I thought a newer model may be a bit more refined.
If anyone has any real world figures or any buying tips for either of the above that would be great.
Thanks in advance!
