Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on the probs im having;

Starting a short while ago i noticed if you turn ignition and wait as you should (diesel) and then continue to turn the key and start the engine it wouldent start (no starter/mechanical noise). So i would take ther key out and start it again with no pause, sorted!

a few days ago I paused and then turned the key, nothing! then retried with no pause, nothing! argghh. waited for a few minutes, key straight in, no pause, started up.

Now turn key and nothing at all, wait and try again, nothing happens.

The electrics work, so im sure its not battery, There is a slight short click when turning the key fully but then nothing.

Any ideas what the prob could be people?

Do a Google on K40 relay - dunno if its applicable to your model but the symptoms are similar.

I will look into this and a quick google does show it to be a rather common source of aggravation. Its a 108cdi by the way.

To add to the confusion, I tried it a few minutes ago and it started!!!!! although it did feel like i turned the key slightly further than normal, a tiny delay and it started right up!!
